We went to the city and got some stick on tile things for a friend's apartment, went to the arcade and the token machine glitched out on me and dumped about five dollars of tokens when I put in just a dollar. Then, on a ski ball machine I put in a token nothing happened so I pushed the coin return button and my token and an actual quarter spat out at me and the start button lit up and let me play a game for free. That stuff NEVER happens to me I was in total shock. I found out I'm invisible. At Menards the automatic door closed as I walked up to it after dad went through then when I went to leave, the door wouldn't open until dad went through xD. I have never been invisible before, well a few times on Gaia I was totally ignored but that's a daily occurrence.

We went to Borders and I just looked around. I couldn't find anything that caught my interest that was worth buying or spending 30 bucks on. I met a professional free lance photographer who was speaking French I dunno where he's from but it was so cool. Mom started talking to him and told him that I was into photography and he had all sorts of questions for me and gave me a lot of really good advice. I think you'll be seeing new work from me soon. I hope that I've improved and his tips are awesome. We helped each other. I love shooting in b/w but he was just getting started with it. He was checking out some of Ansel Adams' photos for ideas and advice. I pointed out something that when you're composing your picture that you should look for and could never go wrong. Look for light, dark, and midtones. You have to have all three with one dominating the other two without fighting for the spot. If you have those three in your viewfinder you'll be alright. He was impressed, but I was impressed just to meet someone at his age wanting to learn something "new". BTW not meaning to sound like a prejudicial person, but I've never spoken to a black person before. I've seen a few in the city but the closest I've been to one was to hold a door open for a mother and her children. I was just mesmerized by his presence and his foreign accent just held me fast. I wish I had gotten at least his name. For all I know he could've been famous.

How was everyone's holiday? Did you have a good New Year and Christmas? I'm glad it's all over. It's a crazy season I tell ya.
